Miss Asian America Pageant
Founded by Rose Chung, the Miss Asian America Pageant has been the premier event in Asian American community for the past two decades and the longest running Asian American pageant in the United States. From their beginnings in 1985 with the Asian American Arts Festival, their event has expanded to an internationally recognized event with regional competitions nationwide. The Miss Asian America Pageant proudly supports the Jade Ribbon Campaign. Each year, the Asian Liver Center participates and volunteers at the Miss Asian America Pageant. The 24th Annual Pageant will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco, CA at 7:00pm.
