Location

Stanford is located about 20 miles north of San Jose and 40 miles south of San Francisco.

The Cancer Center, housed inside the Stanford Advanced Medicine Center, is within easy walking distance of Stanford Hospital & Clinics, and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.

Airport Shuttles
Shuttle and bus service to Stanford is available from nearby airports.

CalTrain Commuter Rail Service
Caltrain provides rail service between San Francisco and San Jose, with weekday commute-hour service to Gilroy. Stanford's free Marguerite Shuttle connects with CalTrain at the downtown Palo Alto station.

From Bayshore US Highway 101 North or South
Take the Embarcadero Road/West exit
Follow Embarcadero Road for about two miles
Cross El Camino Real, after which the road becomes Galvez Street

Valet Parking

A valet parking service is available to patients and visitors from 7:00am - 7:00pm. It costs $8 for all-day parking. Please bring your vehicle to the front of the Cancer Center and an attendant will assist you.

Self Parking

For do-it-yourself parking, Parking Structure 3 on Blake Wilbur Drive is available to patients and visitors. Parking is free for the first 45 minutes. Parking for up to 6 hours will be $5; more than 6 hours and up to 24 hours will cost $10.

Disabled Parking

There are disabled parking spaces available directly across from the entrance to the Cancer Center, approximately one minute walk. There are additional disabled parking spaces in Parking Structure 3 on Blake Wilbur Drive which is approximately a three to five minutes walk from the front entrance of the Cancer Center.
